Hempstead, NY – A pair of opponents ranked inside the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I National Coaches Poll will take on the Hofstra field hockey team from Cindy Lewis Stadium. The Pride's CAA schedule resumes with a Friday contest against #19 Monmouth before hosting #15 Yale on Sunday.
 
Opening whistle is scheduled for 3 p.m. in both contests. Friday's game will be broadcast simultaneously on MSG Network and FloCollege, while Sunday's game with be streamed exclusively on FloCollege, and both games will have live statistics available. Hofstra slipped to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in league play with a 5-0 loss to Northeastern last Friday before a 4-2 defeat against Temple this past Sunday. Luci Hollister recorded 11 saves across the two games, while Gwenn van Dijk and Sarah Smalley both score against the Owls.
 
#19 Monmouth enters Friday 6-1 overall and 1-0 in the CAA following an overtime win over Towson on Friday and a victory against Penn State on Sunday. Preseason All-CAA selection Milla Frye leads the Hawks with nine goals and three assists for 21 points.
 
#15 Yale is 5-0 with wins over UC Davis and Brown this past week. Chira Picciafuoco is the leading scorer for the Bulldogs heading into the weekend with 20 points on seven goals and six assists. Yale will face Cornell on Saturday before traveling to take on the Pride on Sunday.
 
Hofstra is 6-8 all-time against Monmouth and 10-21 all-time versus Yale. Monmouth has won the last eight meetings against Hofstra, including in the 2026 CAA Championship, while Yale handed the Pride a 2-1 loss in New Haven last season.
