As part of our essential core values, Hofstra Athletics and Hofstra University at large, are committed to diversity, inclusion, and gender equity among our student-athletes, coaches, and staff. As such, Hofstra understands the importance of fostering an environment that welcomes, affirms, and celebrates all regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national or ethnic origin, physical or mental disability, marital, or veteran status. 
 
Therefore, the Department of Athletics strives to create a diverse, inclusive community in which all students and staff members feel safe, respected, and valued - regardless of any aspect of one's identity, and strives to provide participation opportunities for all.

The NCAA, Coastal Athletic Association and Hofstra University promote a positive game environment and good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting all participants and officials in a positive manner. We do not condone any racist, sexist or discriminatory comments directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or spectators. ANY of these actions will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Be loud, be proud, and GO HOFSTRA!
