Hofstra Athletics Tickets Terms Of Use

No Refunds or Exchanges, except as provided herein.
This ticket is a revocable license that grants the holder (“Holder”) admission to attend the specified Hofstra University (“Hofstra”) athletic event. By using this ticket, Holder agrees to the terms of use on behalf of themselves and any accompanying minor(s).
Hofstra reserves the right to refuse admission or eject from the venue any person deemed to be intoxicated or to be engaging in conduct that creates a disruptive, disorder, or unsafe environment for the players, coaches, officials, or other patrons. No refunds or other remedy will be available in the event of such refusal or removal.
Holder must comply with the venue’s security policies, including any applicable bag policy. Admission to the venue may be subject to a reasonable search for prohibited items, which may be confiscated.
Holder grants Hofstra and its designees and agents to use Holder’s image, voice, likeness, actions and/or statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at, the event in any medium or context for any purpose, including commercial or promotional purposes, without further authorization or compensation.
Breach of any of the terms of this license or failure to comply with the venue rules shall automatically terminate any rights that Holder may have hereunder and shall authorize Hofstra to revoke the ticket at any time prior to or during the event, refuse admission to the venue or eject Holder from the venue.
Breach of any of the terms of this license shall also subject Holder to all legal remedies available to Hofstra and, if applicable, may also result in the revocation of season ticket privileges.
Holder acknowledges the risks and dangers related to attending a live athletic event. Holder voluntarily assumes all such risks and dangers, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event, howsoever caused and whether by negligence or otherwise, including, but not limited to, the risk of lost, stolen or damaged property, the risk of contracting a Communicable Disease or illness and the risk of personal injury of any kind (including death). Holder agrees that Hofstra and each of its affiliates, employees, volunteers, agents and contractors shall not be liable or otherwise responsible for any such loss, damage or injury to the fullest extent permitted by law. Holder further releases Hofstra from any such liability or responsibility.
Please be advised that the date, time, and opponent of the event may be subject to change. If an event is cancelled and not replayed, the sole and exclusive remedy is a refund of the face value (less any discount purchaser may have received) of this ticket to the original purchaser.
These terms and any dispute arising from or relating to these terms shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
