Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will play its second CAA game of the season Saturday when it welcomes Monmouth to James M. Shuart Stadium for a 1 p.m. contest. It will be the Pride's first game at Shuart Stadium this season. Tickets are available at the gate or in advance at HofstraTickets.com.

The game will air on MSG Sportsnet and FloCollege. WRHU will have an audio-only broadcast available on the HAWC. Links to the broadcasts, as well as the live statistics, can be found above and on the men's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra enters the game with a 2-5 overall mark and an 0-1 record in the CAA following a 12-7 loss at Stony Brook last Friday night. Gus Langtry and Joey DeYoung each had a pair of goals for the Pride, but Stony Brook rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit to pick up the win in the conference opener for both teams.

Monmouth is 3-4 overall and 0-1 in conference this season. The Hawks dropped their CAA opener to Drexel, 12-8, with the Dragons pulling away with a six-goal second quarter to take a 7-1 lead. Bradley Wyckoff and Nick Teets each had a pair of goals for Monmouth.

The Pride leads the all-time series, 5-0. Hofstra won last season, 15-9, on the road. Trevor Natalie had three goals and two assists, while Trey Parkes had two goals and two assists. Anthony Mollica (2G, 1 A) and Drew Bogardus (2G) also played a large role in the win. Shea Kennedy stopped 14 shots in goal for the Pride.

Following Saturday's game, Hofstra will be at home again on March 28 versus Sacred Heart at 1 p.m.
