Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra volleyball team will play a trio of matches this week as the Pride will take part in the Rose Hill Classic before hosting their home opener on Sunday. 

The Pride will face Fordham and FDU on Friday and Saturday before Temple visits the David S. Mack Physical Education Center on Sunday for Hofstra's home opener. 

The Fordham and Temple matches will be broadcast and live statistics will be available for all matches. Links to all can be found on this page and on the volleyball schedule page on GoHofstra.com. 

Hofstra is 4-0 for the first time since the 2023 team began the year with six consecutive victories and it is the third 4-0 start under 12th-year Head Coach Emily Mansur. 

The Pride won a trio of matches last week at the Black Knight Invitational; defeating Army West Point (3-2), Rider (3-1), and Binghamton (3-1). Izadora Stedile was named the tournament's MVP, while Beatriz Braga and Julia Amorim both garnered all-tournament honors. 

Hofstra is 7-4 all-time against Fordham, 13-0 against FDU, and 11-5 versus Temple. The Pride last faced the Rams in 2019, a four-set win. Hofstra's last match against FDU was a four-set win in 2012 and the Pride earned a five-set win over Temple in 2018 in the last meeting with the Owls.
