Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team will make a 88-mile trip up to New Haven, Connecticut on Tuesday, November 11, for a non-conference match-up against Yale.
Tip-off against the Bulldogs is scheduled for 6 p.m. from the John J. Lee Ampitheater.
Tuesday's game will be streamed on ESPN+, and WRHU will provide an audio-only broadcast of the game on 88.7FM. The Pride suffered an 83-48 defeat to Miami in Coral Gables, Florida to open the 2025-26 season.
Sandra Magolico paced the squad with 12 points, while
Sana'a Garrett scored nine points for the Pride, and
Alarice Gooden led the team with six rebounds and a personal-best six assists versus the Hurricanes.
Yale opened its season with a 75-64 loss against CAA foe Northeastern on Friday. Ciniya Moore led the Bulldogs in scoring with 21 points, and Luisa Vydrova was the top rebounder with nine against the Huskies.
The all-time series stands deadlocked at 6-6. Hofstra won the last meeting 75-61 against Yale on November 12 of last year, with
Chloe Sterling scoring a personal-high of 21 points, followed by
Emma Von Essen dropping 19 points on Yale. The last meeting between the two programs at Yale was a 73-67 win for the Bulldogs on December 11, 2007, and the Pride's last win at Yale came on December 8, 1999.
