Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team officially begins its 2025-26 season down in South Beach, as the Pride visits Coral Gables, Florida to square off against Miami on Monday, November 3.
 
Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. from Watsco Center. Monday's game will air live on ACC Network Extra, while WRHU will provide an audio-only broadcast of the contest on the HAWC, and there will be live statistics as well. Hofstra returns to the court after a 14-win season in 2024-25, the most wins by the program since. The Pride welcome back eight from last season's squad, headlined by Preseason All-CAA Second Team selection Chloe Sterling and Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention pick Emma Von Essen, and they welcome seven newcomers for the 2025-26 campaign.
 
Miami finished 14-15 last season, and the Hurricanes were picked eight in the ACC Preseason Coaches poll.
 
Hofstra and Miami will meet for the first time in women's basketball on Monday.
