Santino Rosso Signs Pro Contract With Evansville Otters

Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University baseball alum Santino Rosso has signed a professional contract with the Evansville Otters. The Otters play in the Frontier League, a professional partner league of Major League Baseball.

An infielder, Rosso completed his Hofstra career in 2024. During his five seasons, he played in 197 games with 191 starts and posted a .297 career batting average with 225 hits, 48 doubles, six triples, 19 home runs, 133 RBIs, and 142 runs scored. Rosso ranks second in Hofstra history in games played, fourth in hits, tied for third in doubles, ninth in RBIs,and eighth in runs scored.

Rosso is the third player from the 2024 team to sign a professional contract, joining San Diego Padres free agent signee Alex McCoy and New England Knockouts free agent signee Mike McKenna.
