Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will play its first night game of the season on Tuesday when it hosts local rival St. John's.
Opening face-off from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Hofstra is 1-1 early on this season after opening the year with a dominating 21-9 win over Wagner on February 3 and most recently dropping a 16-8 decision at Navy on Saturday.
John Madsen had his fifth career hat trick against the Midshipmen, while
Griffin Turner added a goal and two assists in the game.
St. John's is 0-2 thus far having lost 10-8 to NJIT on February 3 and 17-11 to Quinnipiac this past Saturday. Brian Kelly had three goals and an assist on Saturday for the Red Storm, while Caleb Zuhoski added two goals and two assists.
Tuesday is the 26th all-time meeting between Hofstra and St. John's in men's lacrosse with the Pride holding a dominating 19-6 lead in the series. Hofstra has won two straight in the series and four of the last five meetings.
