Manhattan enters Hempstead at 2-3 on the year following a 9-7 loss to St. John's on March 5. Liam Walshe has scored 10 times and assisted on four goals for 14 points, and Sean MacKinney has posted 11 points on seven goals and four assists. The Jaspers have previously played at James M. Shuart this season, a 9-7 neutral site loss to Navy on February 20.

Saturday will be the first time these teams have met since Hofstra blanked Manhattan, 18-0, in 2015. This will be only the fourth all-time meeting between the two programs, and Hofstra leads the series 3-0.
