Hempstead, NY – Fresh off a pair of dramatic home wins, the Hofstra women's basketball team embarks on another road trip as the non-conference schedule winds down, this time heading to Baltimore, Maryland to square off against Loyola Maryland on Saturday, December 10.
Tip-off against the Greyhounds will take place at 2 p.m. from Reitz Arena.

Brandy Thomas three-pointer with 1:04 remaining in the game propelled Hofstra to a 4-0 home mark, its best start in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex since 2016. Thomas finished with a game-high 17 points, with eight coming in the fourth quarter, and
Sorelle Ineza scored 12 points off the bench.
Zyheima Swint led the team with six rebounds, and
Ally Knights tallied three assists.
Loyola Maryland dropped to 4-6 on the year following a 78-42 defeat at Pittsburg on Wednesday. Picked ninth in the Patriot League Preseason Poll, the Greyhounds are led in scoring by Taleah Dixon with 16.3 points per game and Lex Therien with 14.2 points per game, while Therien has paced the team with 10.3 rebounds per game.
Hofstra is 1-2 all-time against Loyola Maryland, with their last win coming in a last-second 55-53 win from the Mack Sports Complex after Ineza sunk a buzzer-beater three-pointer.
