INSIDE THE SERIES
Historically one of Hofstra's toughest opponents, Delaware leads the all-time series against the Pride, 61-12. Last season, the Blue Hens defeated the Pride twice, 78-59 at home and 57-47 on the road.

In the first game of the season between Hofstra and Delaware last year, Ana Hernandez Gil finished as the Pride's top scorer with 12 points. Hernandez Gil reached double figures against the Blue Hens later in the season as well with 11 points, but Mikiyah Croskey led the team in the second meeting with 13 points on a 6-of-8 effort from the floor.

A WIN OVER DELAWARE WOULD…
  • Give Hofstra its fourth win of the season and 13th win over Delaware in program history
  • Level Hofstra's CAA record at 1-1
  • Be the 718th known victory in the history of Hofstra women's basketball and 474th at the NCAA Division I level.
SCOUTING THE BLUE HENS (4-9, 0-2 CAA)
Delaware closed out its non-conference schedule with a 4-7 mark and also dropped its first two CAA contests to UNCW and Charleston. After sitting out last season and the first handful of games this season due to injury, graduate student forward and 2017-18 CAA Player of the year, Nicole Enabosi bounced back and is leading Delaware on the offensive end with 16.8 points per game (54 percent FG) and a team-high 7.6 rebounds. Joining Enabosi in double figures is redshirt junior Kayla Shaw, who is averaging 14.7 points per game in just three games played. Rounding out the top-three scorers is sophomore Jasmine Dickey who contributes 10.7 points per game to go along with 7.2 boards.

SCOUTING THE PRIDE (3-9, 0-1 CAA)
Hofstra is coming off a CAA-opening setback to Northeastern last Sunday. Leading the Pride in scoring all season long is redshirt junior guard, Ana Hernandez Gil who puts in an average of 10.3 points per game. Redshirt sophomore Jaylen Hines has been a very valuable player on the floor as well, adding 9.2 rebounds on 48 percent shooting while also pulling down 8.1 rebounds. Senior forward Marianne Kalin is third on the team in scoring as well as she is averaging 8.7 points and 5.8 rebounds. Freshman guard Sorelle Ineza leads the team with 42 assists and ranks fourth in scoring with 8.3 points per night.
