Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra Field Hockey Team will look to get back in the win column this weekend when the Pride hosts Quinnipiac and Yale this weekend at the Hofstra Field Hockey Stadium. Hofstra is 2-0 at home in 2017.

Hofstra (2-3), which has dropped its last two contests, will face Quinnipiac (0-4) Saturday at 3 p.m. and then meet Yale (1-0) Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Pride is coming off a 3-1 loss at New Hampshire on September 3.
Philine de Wolf scored Hofstra's lone goal and
Carys Swan stopped a season-high 12 shots.

Hofstra owns a 12-2 record in the series against Quinnipiac and has won the last two meetings, including a 3-2 victory at Quinnipiac last season. The Pride is 9-16 all-time versus Yale, but has won four of the last five games. The Bulldogs won last year's meeting, 4-2, in New Haven.

Madison Suave and de Wolf lead the Pride with seven points on three goals and an assist each.
Frankie O'Brien has a goal and an assist, while
Marloes Schavemaker has a team-high two assists. Swan has played all 350 minutes in goal and has a .714 save percentage and a 2.40 goals against average.

Following this weekend's games, Hofstra will continue its six-game home stand by hosting Columbia on September 15 at 4 p.m.
