Hempstead, N.Y. – The Hofstra Men's Soccer team continues Colonial Athletic Association play on Wednesday, when Northeastern makes the trip to Hofstra Soccer Stadium for a 7 p.m. contest.

The Pride (1-3-4, 0-0-2 CAA) played Charleston to a scoreless draw on the road on Saturday, marking Hofstra's fourth tie in its past five games. Junior goalkeeper Alex Ashton picked up his third shutout of the season on Saturday and has allowed just three goals over that five-game span, bringing his goals-against average to just over one.
 
Northeastern (2-5-1, 1-0-1 CAA) comes into Wednesday's match having dropped its past two contests. However, of the Huskies' five losses on the season, four have been 1-0 decisions, including a 1-0 loss to then-No. 1 Stanford. Northeastern also earned a 2-1 double overtime win over then-No. 12 UMass-Lowell and has a conference victory over Charleston, a 1-0 overtime decision.
 
The Huskies hold a 13-7-1 advantage in the all-time series with Hofstra, though the Pride has taken the past two meetings. Hofstra beat Northeastern, 3-0, last season in Boston, with Luke Brown finishing with a pair of goals and Meshack Eshun Addy also finding the back of the net.
 
The Pride heads back out on the road this weekend, travelling to James Madison for a conference matchup on Saturday at 7 p.m.
