Hempstead, NY – The undefeated Hofstra Men's Lacrosse team is now ranked in the Top 10 in all three Division I weekly polls following their 11-10 victory over Providence last Saturday.

Hofstra, which improved to 6-0 on the season, is now ranked fifth in both the Nike/US Lacrosse poll and the Maverik Division I Media Poll presented by Inside Lacrosse, and seventh in the USILA/Nike Coaches Poll this week. Last week, the Pride was ranked sixth in the Nike/US Lacrosse Poll, seventh in the Maverik Media Poll and 11^th in the USILA/Nike Coaches Poll.
 
The Maverik Media Poll and the USILA/Nike Coaches Poll rankings are Hofstra's best since a fourth-place ranking in both polls on March 14, 2011.

The last time that Hofstra was ranked in the Top 10 in all three polls was in the February 29, 2016 polls after the Pride got off to a 2-0 with wins over North Carolina and Princeton. Hofstra was ranked eighth in the USILA/Nike Coaches Poll and ninth in both the Cascade/Maverik Media Poll and the US Lacrosse/Lacrosse Magazine Poll.

Hofstra will be back in action tomorrow (March 21) when the Pride host the Seawolves of Stony Brook at James M. Shuart Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
