The Pride (5-5) will look to take a winning record into Colonial Athletic Association play when the Bonnies come to town. The matchup will be Hofstra's first game since Dec. 11 after taking a 10-day hiatus for final exams. The Pride fell to Columbia, 75-53, on the road, with sophomore Marianne Kalin leading the team in scoring for the second straight game, posting 15 points. Senior Olivia Askin also finished in double figures for the fourth consecutive contest, while sophomore E'Lexus Davis picked up her fifth such performance of the season. Freshman Mie Hoff snagged a season-high 10 rebounds.

St. Bonaventure has lost its last two, falling to Buffalo and Albany, after taking a 65-62 win over Penn State on Dec. 9. The Pride and the Bonnies share a common opponent in Siena, and both teams fell to the Saints. Mariah Ruff and Mckenna Maycock share the team lead in scoring with 12.4 points per game and combine to lead the team in every other major statistical category. St. Bonaventure was predicted to finish 12th in the Atlantic 10 according to the league's preseason coaches poll.

This will be just the second meeting between the Pride and the Bonnies, with St. Bonaventure taking a 92-69 win over Hofstra during the 1992-93 season.

Hofstra opens conference play against James Madison, hosting the Dukes at 7 p.m. on Dec. 29 at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibtion Complex.
