MSOC: Hofstra Travels To Binghamton For Non-Conference Tilt

Vestal, N.Y. – With the Colonial Athletic Association season in the books for the Hofstra Men's Soccer team, the Pride heads to in-state rival Binghamton on Wednesday for a non-conference matchup at 7 p.m. at Bearcats Sports Complex.

The game is available via live stats and live video, with links to game coverage on this page and the Hofstra Men's Soccer schedule page.

The Pride (4-5-6, 3-1-4 CAA) has won three of its past four after earning a 2-1 comeback win in overtime over UNCW in the CAA finale on Saturday to clinch a berth in the CAA Championships. After the Seahawks took a 1-0 lead, senior Mani Walcott netted the equalizer in the 80th minute before sophomore Luke Brown put away the game-winner less than four minutes into overtime.

Hofstra finished with just one conference loss for the second consecutive season and awaits its CAA Championships seeding with the final conference games taking place next Saturday.

The Bearcats (5-7-3, 1-2-2 America East) come into the contest with Hofstra having dropped its last game, a 2-0 loss to America East opponent UMass Lowell. Binghamton's lone conference win came in a 1-0 victory over Hartford. Out of conference, the Bearcats have wins over Bucknell, Colgate, Canisius and George Washington.

Nikos Psarras leads the Bearcats with six goals, while Noah Luescher has three goals and five assists.

Hofstra and Binghamton have met just three times before, with the Bearcats earning their first win over the Pride last season, a 2-1 victory at Hofstra Soccer Stadium.

The Pride will play its final game of the regular season on Oct. 31, hosting Brown at 7 p.m. and honoring its senior class in a pregame ceremony at Hofstra Soccer Stadium.
