The Pride (7-4) will be looking to get back in the win column after dropping a close game to Hartford, 69-67, in overtime Friday night. Junior Ashunae Durant posted her seventh double-double of the season in the loss with 16 points and 15 rebounds. She leads the team in both categories while also topping the conference with 11.0 rebounds per game and ranking second in the conference with 16.8 points per game. She also sits in second nationally in offensive rebounds per game (5.6).

Senior Sydni Epps recorded her first career double-double against Hartford, recording 13 points and 12 boards, both career highs. Senior Krystal Luciano chipped in eight assists to move into sixth on the program all-time chart with 417 career helpers. Coming off the bench, freshman Ana Hernandez Gil contributed 13 points in the loss. The rookie is averaging 8.1 points in just 10.8 minutes.

Northeastern (4-8) comes into Monday's contest having won its past two games, picking up victories over Denver and Siena. The Huskies were responsible for Hofstra's exit from the CAA Tournament last season, topping the Pride, 65-54, in the opening round. The win narrowed Hofstra's all-time series lead to 20-19.

The Huskies were predicted to finish seventh in the CAA preseason poll. Francesca Sally leads the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 12.5 points and 7.8 boards per game. As a team, Northeastern is shooting 36.3 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from three-point range.

After the matchup with the Huskies, the Pride will take its first conference road trip of the season, heading to preseason favorite and defending CAA champion James Madison for a 7 p.m. game on Friday before trekking to current league leader William & Mary at 2 p.m. on Jan. 8.
