ATH: #HofstraTop10 - No. 3; Jonel Boileau Named CAA Player Of The Year

Hempstead, NY - We now arrive at the final three of the #HofstraTop10 - with our No. 3 spot going to Jonel Boileau of the Hofstra Field Hockey team following her earning Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year honors in 2014. 

It was a tremendous year for Pride student-athletes as Boileau was one of five Hofstra student-athletes to earn conference player of the year accolades. 

Boileau, a team captain for the Pride in 2014, recorded career-highs in goals (16) and points (38) and tied a career-high with six assists. She started all 19 games, recording multi-point contests 13 times and also notched two-game winning tallies for her team. A native of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, Boileau, became the Pride's first-ever CAA Field Hockey Player of the Year award winner. She ended the season leading the CAA in in points, points per game (2.00), goals and goals per game (0.84). Boileau, who also earned All-CAA honors for the third time and the second consecutive year on the first team, concluded her stellar career with 48 goals, 18 assists and 114 points which ranks third in goals, seventh in assists and fourth in points on the Hofstra career charts.
