Hempstead, NY - On Monday, January 16, 2012 (Martin Luther King Day), the Hofstra University Men's Soccer staff will present a college prep development clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hofstra Indoor Practice Facility (located behind the Mack Sports Complex).
The clinic will provide aspiring college level players in 10th grade and above with the opportunity to discover first-hand the range of skill, physical conditioning, tactical awareness and personality required to perform successfully at the college level.

COST: $75.00 per player
LOCATION: The Hofstra Indoor Practice Facility
GRADES: 10th-12th grade
LUNCH: A light lunch is provided as part of the program
SCHEDULE:
8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.: Check in and Introductions
9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Preparing to train at a college level
9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: College speed of play and understanding
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Small-sided games within a college environment
11:30 a.m. - 12 noon: Speed, strength and agility
12:15 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Lunch
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Seminar Q&A - The college recruiting process
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Games (outdoors on Stadium Field - if weather permits)
