The Hofstra Athletic Department and the Hofstra Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) have partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI) and A-1 First Class Moving to hold its first ever Winter Toy and Clothing Drive.

Throughout the month of December at all home Hofstra sporting events, fans are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys, gift cards, and "gently-used" clothing to the games listed below.

As a culmination of the December toy and clothes drives, the men's basketball game on January 5 vs. James Madison, will be Big Brothers Big Sisters Day.  Prior to tip-off, BBBSLI will recognize and thank key members of S.A.A.C. and A-1 First Class Moving for their efforts in the inaugural Winter Toy and Clothing Drive.

TOY DRIVE

Ø      Saturday, December 1 at 4PM - Men's Basketball vs. UNC-Wilmington

Ø      Tuesday, December 4 at 7PM - Women's Basketball vs. Stony Brook

Ø      Sunday, December 9 at 1PM - Wrestling vs. Harvard

CLOTHING DRIVE

Ø      Wednesday, December 12 at 7PM - Men's Basketball vs. Stony Brook

Ø      Saturday, December 15  at 4PM - Men's Basketball vs. Charlotte

Ø      Friday, December 21 at 2PM - Women's Basketball vs. Southern Methodist

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS DAY

Ø      Saturday, January 5 at 4PM - Men's Basketball vs. James Madison

If you can not make it to any of these events, the bins for toys and clothing will be outside the Mack Sports Complex throughout the month of December.
