Hempstead, NY - The 13th-ranked Hofstra men's soccer team opens Coastal Athletic Association play Saturday night when it heads east to Stony Brook. Kickoff at LaValle Stadium is set for 6:31 p.m. The game will be streamed live on FloCollege with live statistics also available. Links for both can be found above or on the men's soccer schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

The Pride enters the conference opener with a 2-0 record following week one victories over Bucknell (2-1) and American (2-0). Bastian Carlman and Sean Keane lead the way with two goals and one assist each, while keeper Milo Risenhoover has made seven saves over the two games and picked up a clean sheet in his last outing. Risenhoover was CAA Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts.

Stony Brook is 0-0-2 on the season following draws at Marist (2-2) and Sacred Heart (1-1). The Seawolves have gotten goals from Elliot Burqueno, Lars Fahre, and Alex Fleury. Keeper Heidar Hermannsson has stopped four shots over two games.

Hofstra is 21-13-7 all-time against the Seawolves. The Pride swept both games during the 2025 regular season, but the Seawolves bested the Pride, 2-1, in the CAA Semifinals.

Following Saturday's game, Hofstra will return to action Tuesday night in Queens versus St. John's. Game time is 7 p.m.
