Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University men's soccer goalkeeper Milo Risenhoover was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week following his efforts in the Pride's 2-0 start to the season. 

The fifth-year transfer from the University of the Pacific made seven saves over his two games for 20th-ranked Hofstra. He posted four stops in a 2-1 win at Bucknell to open the season and followed that up with a three-save performance in a 2-0 shutout win over American in the home opener. 

Hofstra returns to action Saturday evening when it begins CAA play at Stony Brook with a 6:31 p.m. start time.
