Hofstra Welcomes Yale For Tuesday Night Matchup At Shuart Stadium

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will play under the lights on Tuesday when the Pride hosts Yale. 

Opening face-off from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Hofstra is 3-8 overall heading into its final non-conference game of the season. This will be the first of two games this week for the Pride as Hofstra will host Hampton on Saturday to close the home slate of the 2026 campaign. The Pride dropped a 17-8 decision at Drexel on Saturday in its last game. Joey DeYoung had three goals, while Anthony Mollica (1 G, 1 A) and Gus Langtry (2 A) each contributed a pair of points in the contest. 

Yale is 6-4 this year and coming off a 15-9 win over #5 Harvard on Saturday. Cole Cashion had five goals, while Luke Pascal added a hat trick for the Bulldogs. 

This is the 15th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Yale. The Bulldogs lead the series, 10-4. The teams have met in each of the last two seasons with Yale earning a narrow 9-6 victory a season ago.
