Hofstra Heads To Philadelphia To Face Drexel

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will hit the road for its next game as the Pride will face Drexel in Philadelphia on Saturday. 

Opening face-off from Vidas Field is scheduled for 12 p.m. 

The game will air on FloCollege and WRHU will have an audio-only broadcast available on the HAWC. Links to the broadcasts, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the men's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com. 

Hofstra improved to 3-7 overall and 1-2 in CAA action with a dominant 13-6 win over Fairfield this past Saturday. Anthony Mollica led the way with five points on two goals and three assists, while Blake Cooling was incredible throughout with 10 ground balls, two caused turnovers, and a goal. Shea Kennedy posted 15 saves in net, including 10 in the second half. 

Drexel is 7-4 overall and 3-1 in the league. The Dragons most recently earned a 22-6 win over Hampton last weekend. Witt Crawford had five points on three goals and two assists, while Alec Tulio (3 G, 1 A) and Ty Gougler (1 G, 3 A) both added four points in the game. 

Hofstra is 25-14 all-time against Drexel in a series that began in 1986. Hofstra won the first-ever meeting, 23-13. The Dragons have won the last two encounters between the teams with the Pride most recent victory being an 8-7 win in 2023.
