Hofstra Looks to Close Regular Season at Northeastern

Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team looks to end the 2025-26 regular season with a win on Saturday, March 7, as the Pride heads to Massachusetts to face Northeastern.
 
Tip-off against the Huskies is scheduled for 1 p.m. from the Cabot Center. FloCollege will carry the video stream of Saturday's contest, while WRHU will provide an audio-only broadcast on the HAWC, and there will be live statistics. Hofstra closed out its home schedule on Thursday with a 70-56 defeat to Drexel, putting the Pride at 7-21 overall and 5-12 in league play. Emma Von Essen finished with 14 points to lead the Pride in scoring, and four players pulled down four rebounds each to lead the team.
 
Northeastern enters Saturday with a 7-20 overall record and a 3-14 CAA mark following four consecutive losses. Camryn Collins leads the Huskies with 11.8 points per game, followed by Yirsy Quéliz with 10.1 points per contest, and Justice Tramble paces Northeastern with 5.8 rebounds per game.
 
Hofstra trails the all-time series against Northeastern 27-31. The Huskies won the previous meeting against the Pride back on January 18, 62-60.
