Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University baseball program opens CAA play Friday at the College of Charleston in the start of a three-game series at Patriots Point. Hofstra will be the designated home team in all three games as the series was supposed to be in Hempstead but was moved due to field conditions caused by the winter weather in New York.

Friday's game will start at 4 p.m. with first pitch on Saturday and Sunday set for 1 p.m. All three games will stream on FloCollege with live statistics also provided. Links are above or on the baseball schedule page at GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra is looking for its first win of the season after starting 0-6. The Pride have had five other games canceled due to weather. The Cougars are 5-7 on the season and are coming off a win over Presbyterian in their last outing this past Tuesday.

Charleston leads the all-time series against Hofstra, 21-12. The Pride are 3-16 at Patriots Point.

Pitching matchups for the series are:

Friday: Sean Hamilton vs. Chester Harrington
Saturday: Chris Bedford vs. Jace Stancil
Sunday: Nick Reese vs. TBA

Following the weekend series, Hofstra is scheduled to host Rider on Wednesday at 3 p.m. before heading to Monmouth for a weekend series.
