Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team's Coastal Athletic Association schedule continues on Sunday, January 18, with a home afternoon showdown against Northeastern.
Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. from the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex on Sunday. The game will air simultaneously on FloCollege and MSGSN, while WRHU will provide an audio-only broadcast on the HAWC, and live statistics will be available. A 61-44 loss at home to Stony Brook puts the Pride at 3-13 overall and 1-4 in the CAA entering Sunday.

Picked 13th in the CAA Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, Northeastern suffered a 61-51 loss to Campbell to enter Sunday at 5-10 overall and 1-4 in league play. Camryn Collins leads the Huskies in scoring with 11.8 points per game, followed closely by Yirsy Queliz with 11.2 points per game, and Justice Tramble's 5.4 rebounds per game puts her as the team's top rebounder.
Hofstra stands 27-30 in the all-time series against Northeastern. The teams split last season's series; Northeastern won 61-51 on February 16 before Hofstra claimed a 69-53 win on the final day of the regular season on March 8.
