Hofstra Looks To Get Back On Track Tuesday Versus Columbia

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University men's soccer team will look to get back in the win column when it hosts the Lions of Columbia University Tuesday night at Captains Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The Pride will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak.

The Pride enters the game with an overall record of 4-4. Hofstra dropped a pair of games last week, losing 2-1 at No. 9 Vermont before a 1-0 home loss to Monmouth in a CAA game. Columbia is 1-2-2 on the season and is coming off a 1-0 loss at FDU this past Thursday.

Hofstra is 6-16-4 all-time against Columbia in a series that has been played off-and-on since 1958. The teams last met October 4, 2022 with the Pride posting a 5-1 victory behind three goals from Eliot Goldthorp.

Following Tuesday's game, Hofstra will hit the road for a CAA matchup Saturday at Drexel.
