Brown, Hamilton, Masiuk Earn Academic Honors

Hempstead, NY - The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. Hofstra's Michael Brown, Sean Hamilton, and Luke Masiuk were each named to the team. 

Brown, a sophomore sports management major, owns a 3.73 grade point average. On the field, he batted .276 with 11 doubles and 34 RBIs in 53 games. Hamilton, a senior academically, has a 3.83 grade point average as a mathematical business economics major. He returned from Tommy John surgery near the midway point of the season and made 12 appearances for the Pride and recorded a win and 35 strikeouts. Masiuk, a senior management major, posted a 3.68 grade point average. He batted .276 and led the team with 15 doubles, 10 home runs, and 46 RBIs, while stealing 21 bases.
