Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will head to Connecticut on Saturday when the Pride faces CAA rival Fairfield.

Opening face-off from Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium is scheduled for 12 p.m.

The game will air on LacrosseTV, Fairfield's YouTube page, and WRHU will have an audio-only broadcast available. Links to all, as well as the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the men's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra moved to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in CAA play with a 17-10 rout of Delaware on Saturday. The win was the Pride's third straight. It is the Pride's longest win streak since a four-game win streak from February 20 to March 26, 2021. Anthony Mollica led the way with seven points on two goals and five assists. Shea Kennedy was strong in net with 17 saves for the Pride.

Fairfield is 9-1 and 2-1 in CAA action this year after suffering its first loss of the season, 17-16, at Stony Brook this past Saturday. Jake Gilbert led the Stags with four goals, while Rob Moore had four points on two goals and two assists.

Saturday will be the 17th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Fairfield in men's lacrosse. The series has been extremely close over the years and is currently tied at eight wins each. The teams have split the last six meetings but the Stags have won the last three. The Pride's last wins in the series came during the 2021 campaign with the most recent being an 18-14 win on April 30, 2021.
