Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse program has renewed its innovative Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partnership with The Athlete Amplifier, continuing a unique opportunity that benefits every member of the Pride roster.

Through the renewed agreement, all student-athletes on the team will once again receive compensation while also participating in a financial education initiative in collaboration with Quantum Financial Advisors. As part of the program, players will have the opportunity to establish investment accounts through Charles Schwab & Co., reinforcing the partnership's emphasis on long-term financial awareness and responsibility.

The continued collaboration builds on the success of last year's initiative, which was designed to provide equitable access and real-world financial experience for every student-athlete in the program.

"We are excited to continue our relationship with The Athlete Amplifier and Quantum Financial Advisors," said Hofstra Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Seth Tierney. "This partnership reflects our commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes, both during their time at Hofstra and well beyond. The fact that every player benefits from this speaks to what makes it so impactful."

The Athlete Amplifier, founded by Hofstra alumnus Joe Rinaldi '81, remains focused on supporting student-athletes through both financial opportunities and educational resources that extend beyond competition.

"I am pleased to collaborate with Hofstra in promoting what I believe is an ideal model for offering NIL deals to high school and college athletes, " said Rinaldi. "We have successfully executed 18 individual deals and 2 team deals over the last two years. Our model focuses on matching an athlete with a local business and developing a marketing plan that generates an upfront fee for the student while also creating additional revenue for the business. We promote financial literacy and teach student-athletes about investing. After all, school is about learning, and we believe in teaching these young athletes to become fishermen and fisherwomen."

"The impetus for my donation to Hofstra Lacrosse NIL stems from the outstanding leadership and passion Joseph Rinaldi has demonstrated in building this program," said Hofstra lacrosse alumnus James C. Metzger '83. "In addition to his financial support, Joe has created a model through The Athlete Amplifier that benefits every player by providing compensation, financial guidance, and long-term educational value. I encourage fellow Hofstra alumni, fans, and supporters to join in strengthening the program and supporting each student-athlete."

As part of the program's continued growth, student-athletes will again have access to hands-on learning opportunities, including internships within the financial industry. The initiative has already demonstrated significant success, with 152 participants transitioning into full-time roles in finance, achieving a 100% placement rate.

"This program has had a real impact on our team," said Hofstra men's lacrosse student-athlete Will Delaney. "Having the chance to learn about investing and financial planning while also benefiting from the NIL space is something that sets Hofstra apart. We're grateful to continue being part of it."
