Jacob Vazquez sits tied for 32nd place to lead Hofstra after shooting a second round 77 (+5) on the second day of the CAA Men's Golf Championship from Union League National Golf Club in Cape May Court, New Jersey. As a team, the Pride is tied for 10th-place with NC A&T at 640 (+64) after two rounds.
Vazquez leads the Pride with a two-round score of 157 (+13), while
Eugene Kang is tied for 39th out of the 52-player field at 160 (+16) following a second round 78 (+6).
Joseph Giamanco is tied for 45th at 161 (+17),
Gavin Clarke is tied for 47th at 162 (+18) and
Charlie Ferrise is 52nd at 173 (+29).
Campbell's Henric Bjelke remains the individual leader with a two-round score of 135 (-9) heading into the third and final day of competition. Campbell leads the 11-team competition with a two round 583 (+7).
The final round of the CAA Men's Golf Championship gets underway Tuesday at 8 a.m. with
Vincent Apostolico entering the lineup for Hofstra and teeing off from Hole 10.
