Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will face one of their longtime rivals on Saturday when Drexel comes to town for the CAA match-up.
Opening face-off from James M. Shuart Stadium is slated for 1 p.m.

There are a number of giveaways planned for Saturday! There will be a Hofstra-branded headband giveaway for the first 125 youth in attendance, a Lacrosse Unlimited stick giveaway, and a postgame youth lacrosse clinic with members of the Pride men's lacrosse team.

Hofstra is 7-3 and 3-1 in CAA play following a 14-10 road loss against Fairfield last Saturday.
Rory Jones led the way with a season-high five goals in the contest, while
Anthony Mollica posted four points on a goal and three assists.
Trey Parkes chipped in with three points on a goal and two assists, while
Shea Kennedy made 13 saves in net and added five ground balls.
Drexel is 5-6 overall and an even 2-2 in league action. The Dragons most recently earned a 17-1 win over Hampton last week as Owen Knight had a goal and three assists to lead the team, while five different players had two goals for Drexel.
Hofstra is 25-13 all-time against Drexel in men's lacrosse. Each of the last two meetings have been one-goal games with the Dragons winning last season and the Pride capturing the 2023 contest. The first-ever meeting was a 23-13 Hofstra win in 1986.
