Hofstra Continues Homestand Versus UAlbany

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University baseball team continues its five-game homestand with a three-game series versus the Great Danes of the University at Albany beginning Friday at 2 p.m. The series continues Saturday at 1 p.m. and concludes with a 12 p.m. game on Sunday. All three games will be streamed live on FloCollege with live statistics available as well. Links for all can be found above or on the schedule page of GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra (4-7) is coming off an 11-7 victory over Marist this past Tuesday. The Pride rallied from a 3-0 first inning deficit to defeat the Red Foxes and snap a four-game losing streak. The game marked the Pride's home opener at University Field after playing four games at Farmingdale State College. 

UAlbany is 3-4 on the season. The Great Danes are coming off a weekend series at Longwood that saw them win three of the four games. 

Hofstra is 12-8 all-time against UAlbany. The teams last met in 2023 with the Pride sweeping a three-game series at University Field.

Following Sunday's finale, Hofstra will close out the homestand with a Tuesday game against Fairfield at 3 p.m.
