Sterling To Miss Remainder Of 2024-25 Season

Hempstead, NY - Hofstra University junior guard Chloe Sterling (Kennesaw, GA) will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season due to a knee injury suffered earlier this season. 

Sterling, who has missed the last six games, was leading the team in scoring (13.0 ppg), assists (3.6 apg), and steals (1.3 spg). She played in and started 21 games this season, averaging 33.3 minutes per outing. 

"We are so disappointed for Chloe," said Hofstra Head Coach Danielle Santos Atkinson. "Chloe was having such a tremendous year and really having an incredibly positive influence on our entire program. We wish Chloe the best in her recovery and know she will attack the rehabilitation process with the same energy and focus that she brought to the court every day."

Sterling, who earlier this season was named the CAA Player of the Week, scored in double figures 16 times this season and tallied a season-best 21 points on a pair of occasions.
