Hofstra Heads to Massachusetts to Face Northeastern

Hempstead, NY – Following two consecutive home games and three consecutive games on Long Island, the Hofstra women's basketball team will leave the state of New York for a road game against Northeastern on Sunday, February 16.
 
Tip-off from the Cabot Center is set for 1 p.m.
 
The game will be streamed on FloCollege, and the WRHU will provide an audio-only broadcast of the game on the HAWC. The video and audio links, as well as the live statistics link, are available on this page as well as the women's basketball page at GoHofstra.com.
 
Hofstra's record is 9-14 overall and 4-8 in the Coastal Athletic Association following a 63-51 defeat at home against Towson on Friday. Zyheima Swint and Emma Von Essen scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, to lead the team in scoring, while Ramatoulaye Keita pulled down a team-best 10 rebounds.
 
Northeastern lost 73-55 to North Carolina A&T on Friday to drop to 1-20 overall and 0-12 in the conference. Leading the Huskies in scoring is Abby Jegede with 15.6 points per game.
 
The all-time series favors Northeastern with a 29-26 mark. Hofstra won the last meeting against the Huskies; a 66-46 rout from the Mack Sports Complex on February 18, 2024.
