Two Games On Slate For Pride This Week

2/12/2025 3:30:00 PM

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra women's lacrosse team has a pair of games on the schedule this week as the Pride will head to Manhattan on Friday before hosting Marist on Sunday.

Opening draw control on Friday is scheduled for 1 p.m. and on Sunday the game will start at 12 p.m.

There will be live video of both games as well as an audio-only broadcast of Friday's game. Links to all broadcasts, in addition to the live statistics, can be found on this page and on the women's lacrosse schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra opened the 2025 season with an 11-6 win over Long Island this past Friday. Kayleigh Bender and Kristen Redding led the way with four goals each, while Christine Dannenfelser posted nine draw controls in the contest.

Manhattan is 0-1 on the season following a 13-5 loss to UMass Lowell on February 8. Olivia Cruthers led the Jaspers with five points on four goals and one assist.

Marist is also 0-1 this year after dropping a 15-5 decision to New Hampshire on Saturday. Jesse Manger had three goals for the Red Foxes in that game.

This will be the third all-time meeting between Hofstra and Manhattan but the first since the 1998 season. The Pride is 2-0 in the series and won the last meeting, 18-3.

Hofstra is 5-1 all-time against Marist and captured last year's meeting, 14-10.
