Hofstra Places Four On All-Region Teams

Hempstead, NY - Four members of the Hofstra University men's soccer team - Laurie Goddard, Daniel Burko, Stefano Campisi, and Pietro Santi - were selected to All-Atlantic Region teams by the United Soccer Coaches it was announced today. Goddard, Burko, and Campisi were voted to the first team, while Santi was a second team choice. 

Goddard, the CAA Player and Midfielder of the Year, turned in a brilliant 2025 campaign. The senior from London, England, posted career-highs across the board with 15 goals, 7 assists, and 37 points. He led the Pride and the CAA in goals and points, and was second on the team in assists. Goddard, a First Team All-CAA pick, ranks sixth in the nation in goals and points, and his eight game-winning goals lead the nation. The all-region nod is the second of Goddard's career after earning second team accolades last season. 

Burko, a senior forward from Lovenstad, Norway, also turned in a huge offensive year in his first season at Hofstra. He tallied 13 goals, 5 assists, and 31 points, and ranked second on the team and the CAA in goals and points. Burko's 31 points rank 11th in the nation, while his 13 goals are 12th. He was a First Team All-CAA selection. 

Campisi, a graduate midfielder, served as the primary director of the Pride's potent offense with a team and CAA-leading 10 assists, a total that ranks seventh in the nation. The Milan, Italy native added one goal for 12 points on the season, ranking third on the team. Campisi was a Third Team All-CAA selection. 

Santi was a dominant force on the Pride's backline. The graduate defender from Civitavecchia, Italy, helped anchor a Hofstra defense that allowed less than one goal per game and posted seven shutouts. 

Hofstra posted a 14-5-1 record in 2025, earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship where it advanced to the third round.
