11/17/2025 9:56:00 AM

Hempstead, NY – Hofstra Head Women's Basketball Coach Danielle Santos Atkinson announced today the commitments of Allie Broadus, Adaora Dioramma, Mone't Edwards, and Audriana Williams to continue their academic and athletic careers at Hofstra University by signing National Letters of Intent during the early signing period.

A 6-1 forward, Broadus will join the Pride following her graduation from Thomas Dale High School in her hometown of Chester, Virginia. Broadus enters her third season on the Knights varsity squad, after being named Region 6A honorable mention as a freshman while averaging eight points, seven rebounds, and three steals, and she improved upon these figures with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists as a sophomore. Broadus helped Thomas Dale to back-to-back regional and district titles as a freshman and as a sophomore, while the Knights finished 2023-24 as runners-up in the state championship. Broadus plans to major in exercise science while attending Hofstra, with the intention of being an athletic trainer or physical therapist following graduation.

"Allie brings impressive physicality and basketball acumen to this class," says Santos Atkinson, currently in her seventh season as Hofstra's head coach. "She's one of the best forwards in the state of Virginia, with the size and length to defend multiple positions. Her ability to score on the perimeter and in the low post makes her a constant mismatch on the floor. She's a hard worker who loves to compete. I look forward to having Allie in a Hofstra uniform."

A 6-1 forward from London, England, Dioramma has starred for City of London Academy, Southwark, where she has played for the varsity squad for the last three years. With Dioramma, COLA has won the U17 Dynamik National Finals and the U18 Junior Final Four in 2023-24 – with Dioramma winning MVP honors. She was named all-conference first team in 2024-25, and she was the U17 Women's Elite Academy Basketball League (WEABL) South Conference Player of the Year. Additionally, Dioramma helped COLA to a U18 National Cup and the WEABL U19 finals in 2023-24, and a U18 National Cup in 2024-25. Dioramma averaged 11.6 points and 9.7 rebounds per game in the WEABL in 2024-25, while averaging 11.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in Division I. Dioramma plans to major in criminology at Hofstra.

"Adaora will be a tremendous addition to our front court," Santos Atkinson says. "She brings athleticism, skill, and rebounding to our post group. She's aggressive on the glass, has a natural touch around the basket, and her transition game fits the tempo we want to play. She will be a tough match-up in the CAA for years to come. We're excited to welcome Adaora to the Pride family."

A 5-7 guard from Baltimore, Maryland, Edwards will arrive at Hofstra from Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore. She is a three-time all-conference first team selection for the Panthers. After averaging 15.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game as a junior, Edwards was named to the Baltimore Sun First Team All-Metro as Saint Frances advanced to the IAAM Championship. She was also named all-freshman first team in 2022-23.

"Mone't is a proven winner and championship-caliber athlete in the state of Maryland," says Santos Atkinson. "She is a dynamic combo guard who can score at all three levels with a great shot, strong ability to finish at the rim, and a high basketball IQ. She will bring versatility to our backcourt, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome her to the Pride."

A 6-0 forward from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Williams comes to the Pride from Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, Maryland, where she has totaled 461 points, 346 rebounds, 87 assists, 68 steals, and 27 blocks in a three-year career with the Roadrunners, averaging 7.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game. After graduating from Hofstra, Williams plans to become involved with the Special Olympics and work with those in the special needs community.

"We're super excited about the versatility, size, and athleticism that Audriana will bring to our program," says Santos Atkinson. "Audriana can play multiple positions, which was a priority in this class. She can score with her back to the basket, yet also be a face-up decision-maker who can put it on the floor. She has a nose for the ball and a tremendous ability to rebound. Her toughness and edge are a perfect fit for our program. We're thrilled to welcome Audriana to the Pride family."
