Joseph Wong sits in the top-20 of the Wykagyl Collegiate to lead the Pride after the conclusion of two rounds of play Monday. Wong shot rounds of 72 to tie for 12th place heading into the final round of play Tuesday morning from Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle, New York.
Eugene Kang is next up for Hofstra at 156 (+12) following rounds of 78 (+6) to tie for 44th place out of the 60 player field.
Charlie Ferrise is 52nd at 157 (+13) after a first round 77 (+5) and second round 80 (+8).
Gavin Clarke shot rounds of 83 and 76 to tie for 53rd at 159 (+15) and
Hank Kancher is in 57th heading into the final round of play at 163 (+19).
As a team, Hofstra sits in 12th place at 615 (+39) following the first two rounds. Rhode Island leads the 12-team competition with a two round 563 (-13), while hosts Iona close out the top-5 at 594 (+18). Sacred Heart's Mike Rothberg sits in first place with a two round score of 136 (-8).
The Pride return to the 10th hole at Wykagyl Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. to begin the final round of the Wykagyl Collegiate and conclude their fall season.
