Hofstra Returns Home To Host Campbell In CAA Series

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University baseball team returns to University Field for a weekend series against Coastal Athletic Association newcomer Campbell. The series begins Friday at 2 p.m. and continues Saturday (1 p.m.) and Sunday (12 p.m.). All three games will be streamed live on FloBaseball with live statistics available as well.

Hofstra enters the series with a 12-24 record and a 3-9 record in the CAA. The Pride snapped a six-game losing streak Wednesday at Marist behind the offensive production of Michael Florides (three hits, three RBIs) and Joseph Mennella (home run, double, two RBIs), and the solid pitching of Tanner Sanderoff (win) and Joseph Curreri (save).

Campbell is 24-11 overall and 6-6 in the CAA. The Camels are coming off an extra inning win at North Carolina State this past Tuesday.

This will mark the first-ever meeting on the diamond between the two schools.

Following the series, the Pride is back on the road for non conference games at NJIT Tuesday and Connecticut Wednesday.
