Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will close its 2024 home schedule on Saturday when it hosts CAA opponent Hampton.
Opening face-off from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Prior to the contest, Hofstra will honor its 10 seniors in a pre-game ceremony. Being honored as part of the senior day festivities is:

Hofstra is 4-9 and 1-4 in CAA action. Saturday is the second of two games on the schedule this week for the Pride as Hofstra dropped a close 16-12 decision to #9 Yale on Tuesday night.
John Madsen is tops on the team in scoring with 45 points on 36 goals and nine assists.
Griffin Turner is second with 37 points on 13 goals and 24 assists, while
Rory Jones has 34 points on 20 goals and 14 assists.
Hampton is 0-11 overall and 0-5 in conference play. The Pirates most recently dropped a 25-2 decision to Towson last Saturday. Darius Stanley leads Hampton with 12 points on 10 goals and two assists.
Last season was the first-ever meeting between Hofstra and Hampton in the sport of men's lacrosse and the Pride captured a 15-4 win over the Pirates.
