Hempstead, NY - Hofstra incoming freshman Gus Langtry garnered preseason accolades as he was named to the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Power 100 Freshman Rankings, it was announced this morning.
Langtry, who hails from Parker, Colorado, was ranked #94 on the list.
Langtry was named the conference player of the year as a senior at Legend High School after tallying 98 points. A two-time high school All-American, he also earned first team all-conference and all-state accolades. Langtry finished his high school career with 296 points.
Langtry is the son of former Hofstra All-American lacrosse player Brian, who graduated in 1998 and earned America East Player of the Year honors.
