Hofstra Hosts No. 9 Yale On Tuesday Night

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse team will host #9 Yale on Tuesday in the second of three consecutive home games for the Pride. 

Opening face-off from James M. Shuart Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Hofstra is coming off a narrow 13-12 loss to Drexel on Saturday afternoon. The Pride enters Tuesday's game with a 4-8 overall record. John Madsen leads the team with 42 points on 34 goals and eight assists, while Griffin Turner (12 G, 23 A) and Rory Jones (19 G, 13 A) follow closely behind. 

Yale is 9-2 this season after a 20-13 win over Dartmouth on Saturday. Matt Brandau leads the Bulldogs with 77 points on 33 goals and 44 assists. Carson Kuhl is second with 41 points on 22 goals and 19 assists. 

Tuesday will be the 13th all-time meeting between Hofstra and Yale but the first since the 1995 season. The Bulldogs lead the Pride, 8-4, in a series that began in 1952. Hofstra won the last meeting, 10-9, in 1995.
