Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra men's lacrosse program announced this week that redshirt senior
Trevor Natalie has been selected as the Nick Colleluori Tribute Award recipient and will wear the prestigious #27 this season for the Pride.
The Nick Colleluori Tribute Award is presented to a Hofstra player in the form of assigning Nick's number 27 to a student-athlete who exhibits the same selflessness, team spirit and relentlessness that Colleluori displayed on and off the field. Colleluori, who played for the Pride and would have been a member of the Class of 2008, fought a courageous 14-month battle against non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma before passing away on November 28, 2006.
Natalie is the 16th player to receive the Nick Colleluori Tribute Award.
Natalie has played in 40 career games for the Pride with 15 starts (all in 2025). He has totaled 60 points with 43 goals and 17 assists. He also has 35 ground balls and six caused turnovers. Last season he earned All-CAA First Team honors as he was third on the team in goals, assists, and points. Natalie was also a USILA Scholar All-American in 2025.
Hofstra will host the annual Nick Colleluori Classic on Saturday, October 4 at James M. Shuart Stadium. This special day will feature the HEADstrong Foundation as well as games showcasing Hofstra, LIU, NJIT, Iona, and Brown.
