Hofstra Travels To Towson For CAA Series

Hempstead, NY - The Hofstra University baseball team enters its second weekend of Coastal Athletic Association play with a trip to Towson for a three-game series at Schuerholz Park. Game one on Friday is set for 3 p.m. with game two on Saturday at 1 p.m., and game three on Sunday at 1 p.m. 

Friday and Sunday's games will be streamed live on FloBaseball and live statistics will be available for all three games. Links can be found on the baseball schedule page on GoHofstra.com.

Hofstra enters the series with a 9-15 record overall and a 1-2 mark in CAA play. The Pride is on a two-game winning streak after defeating Seton Hall (3-2) and LIU (12-10) in midweek action. 

Towson is 5-19 overall and 0-3 in league play. The Tigers defeated George Washington, 7-4, in their last game on Wednesday. 

Hofstra is 44-65 all-time against the Tigers, but have won seven of the last eight meetings including a series sweep last season in Hempstead. 

Pitching matchups for the series will be:
Friday: Michael O'Hanlon (2-1) vs. Andrew Luczak (0-2)
Saturday: Carlos Martinez (1-3) vs. Brett Seils (0-3)
Sunday: Steven Kaenzig (0-4) vs. TBA

Following the Towson series, Hofstra will visit Rutgers on Tuesday for a 3 p.m. matchup before returning home to host Delaware next weekend.
