Stony Brook, NY - Ten Hofstra men's track and field athletes earned top-10 finishes at Stony Brook's Snowflake Classic Saturday morning, to open their outdoor track and field season.
Nayan Chatterjee and
Nile Love both earned second place in their respective events at the Snowflake Classic. Chatterjee finished the 100m race with a time of 11.41, while Love earned a 6.82m mark in the long jump.
In the 100m race,
Alec Padron finished third with a time of 11.45.
Adam Gordon,
Vis Haripal and
Greg Franzetti placed sixth, seventh, and eighth. Gordon finished in 12.01, Haripal in 12.88, and Franzetti in 13.73.
Brendan Capodanno competed in the mile for Hofstra and finished with a time of 4:37.87 to place sixth.
Sameer Grewal and
Zachary Kohner represented the Pride in the 800m. Grewal finished in seventh place with a time of 2:09.53, while Kohner finished in a time of 2:31.34 to place ninth.
Cade Jaipaul ran in the 400m race and finished in 56.06 to place ninth.
The Hofstra men's outdoor season continues at the Raleigh Relays from March 28-30 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
