Hempstead, NY – The Hofstra women's basketball team returns to the hardwood on Sunday, February 18, as the Pride hosts Northeastern in February CAA action from inside the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex with a 2 p.m. tip-off.
Sunday's game will be Hofstra's Play4Kay game featuring the Pride in their special pink uniforms in support of breast cancer research. In addition, Hofstra will be partnering with World of Pink Foundation, a Long Island-based health facility founded in 2016 by board-certified mastectomy fitter Christine A. Guarino, RDH, CMF, dedicated to providing comprehensive aftercare for women who have undergone all phases of breast cancer surgery, for a halftime poster contest. First-place takes home a cash prize, and second place wins a Hofstra prize pack.

The game will be broadcast live on MSG, and the game will be streamed live on FloHoops. In addition, WRHU will provide an audio-only broadcast of Sunday's fixture on the HAWC. Hofstra's record stands at 8-13 and 2-9 in the CAA following an 81-48 loss at Stony Brook on Friday.
Zyheima Swint finished with 11 points against the Seawolves and
Sorelle Ineza produced 10 points for the Pride.
Northeastern is 8-14 and 4-8 in the CAA following a 53-37 home loss to Elon. Derin Erdogan leads the Huskies in scoring with 14.7 points per game.
The Huskies handed Hofstra a 66-53 defeat last time these teams met back in January up in Boston. Northeastern leads the all-time series over Hofstra, 29-25.
