Boston, MA - Hofstra's
Abraham Longosiwa placed 93rd in the 5000m run at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational Saturday night at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. Longosiwa was Hofstra's only competitor at the invitational.
Longosiwa completed the 125-man race in a time of 14:08.69. The top finisher was Ahmed Muhamed of HOKA Naz Elite with a time of 13:16.99. The top college finisher was Peter Maru of Arkansas in a time of 13:17.86. Former Hofstra All-American Alex Masai, running for Naz Elite, finished sixth in a time of 13:18.96.
Hofstra is back in action on February 22 at the CAA Indoor Track and Field Championship.
